Victoria Falls National Park Travel Tidbits:
While Victoria Falls can be seen from two different countries, Zimbabwe and Zambia. We chose only to see Victoria Falls from the Zimbabwe side as it covers 75% of the viewing. The best way to see the falls in Zimbabwe is by entering their national park and walking along the path to all the best viewing points. We were quite impressed with the different viewing points and it seemed the farther we traveled down the paved path the more impressive the views became.
Couple of things to note:
- There is a cost to get into the park. Recently it was increased to $50 for all international travelers. This is twice as expensive as the Zambia side, but the viewing is better. Who wouldn’t want the best viewing of one of the natural wonders of the WORLD?!?
- There is a little café where you can enjoy drinks and a light meal.
- Unless going in the dry season…YOU ARE GOING TO GET WET!
